Nature blends with art throughout the garden of the artist Paul Wiedmer. While walking inside the valley among chimneys, trains, fires and sounds, you will feel like being lost in a magical place where anything could happen.

A small museum, in the historic center of the nearby Civitella d'Agliano, housed in an ancient mill and born from the passion and commitment of the members of the association "La Porta del Tempo". This enchanted place will give you a jump into the past riding vintage bicycles, adapted by the artisans of the past to do their job.

Once upon a time, there was a depopulated village from which the few young people were leaving in search of a future. Then the idea of turning Sant'Angelo into an open-air fairy-tale museum. The first wall painting which inaugurated the cycle was that of Alice in Wonderland: it is located in the main square and its clock marks 11 and 27 minutes because of its inauguration date on 27th November 2017. Since then, Sant’Angelo has really become a wonderland.

A land full of mysteries, ambivalences and alchemical references, the Sacred Grove of Bomarzo is a symbolic labyrinth, an enigmatic initiatory path commissioned by Pier Francesco Orsini, also called Vicino in the 16th century. It’s aworld apart.

Its creation is due to Jacopo Barozzi da Vignola, as for the Palazzo Farnese inCaprarola, from which however it is distinguished by architecture and style.
Commissioned bythe Cardinal Francesco Gambara its construction has begun in 1511 and was completed in 1566.

Since the 16th century, the park and the gardens were an essential part of the palace. For the Grand Cardinal Alessandro Farnese and his late Renaissance contemporaries,the tree-lined avenues, the delights and rest houses, as well as the fountains and the water games had a particular role, not merely decorative.
